Quietly, into the hushed tranquility of the meadow,
at dawn she goes...
The feel of the grass and clover, cool and damp,
beneath her toes...
The rising sun scribbles shadows and shapes,
in many wondrous hues...
In the dense woods, just beyond her,
a small white unicorn she views...
*
Walking in the cool of the morning mist,
her mind begins to drift...
Feeling his love within her spirit,
such a fantastic, special gift...
Bending with soft and gentle hands,
she gathers the morning dew...
Touching her face, she smiles with a joy,
known to only, a few...
*
Serenely as she goes on, she thinks of him
and thinks of him again...
Her love, her mate, her heart and soul,
but most of all, her friend...
Standing near the waterfall,
it's sparkling sounds, so enchanting...
Recalling how, in this very place,
their love became, so demanding...
*
Feeling him near, knowing he's not,
she softly whispers his name....
Words of love, she speaks to the wind,
as if they were one and the same...
"You gave my heart wings, captured my soul,
possessed me as your own...
Showed me passion so sweet, love so consuming,
things I've never before known...
*
I vow this to you, our love will go on forever,
Never to say goodbye...
Feeling the intense warmth and shine of you,
like all the stars in the sky...
I'll carry these intimate thoughts, deep in my soul,
within my every mood...
You'll always be by my side, keeping me safe,
even from lonely, solitude"...
*
Placing their souls in the hands of the gods,
whose rule is so sublime...
Feeling in her heart, their love going far,
blown by the winds of time...
Turning quietly away, the sun now so bright,
she makes her way back towards the cabin...
Picking some flowers, they planted last spring,
her day, her life, her future to begin...
